Ben Salah won the Main Event - Poker Palace Championships
The gambling facilities in Australia are very active in organizing events for poker game enthusiasts. If the country is known for the hosting of major poker tournaments such as the Aussie Millions Poker Championship or the World Series of Poker Asia Pacific, other new event had just took place this weekend at Sydney Poker Palace: the Poker Palace Championships (PPC). If the PPC has not the same size as the two previous tournaments in this Asia-Pacific region, it offered a great challenge to poker player who have made the trip. The Main Event of the Poker Palace Championships attracted a field of 89 players generating a prize pool of $ 89,175.
After two days of competition, the victory was attributed to Ben Salah who dominated a field composed of renowned players such as Michael O'Grady, Sam Khouiss, David Borg, Shivan Abdeen, Anthony Aston, Michael Kanaan, Suzy Khoueis and Laurence Hall. Ben Salah has delivered the final heads-up with Danny Messasalma. The two players pocketed $ 23,190 for their first and second place. Initially, the seven finalists should be the only ones to be paid, but a deal has allowed two players to finish in the money. Adrian Attenborough was ranked in the third position with a sum of $ 10,700, followed by Moe Taoube (4th, $ 8,920), Adil Bayzitti (5th, $ 7,130), Michael Brahim (6th, $ 5,350), Craig Blight (7th, $ 4,460), Simon Chihane (8th, 3570 $) and Robert Spano (9th, $ 2,680).
