OpenTrust announces the end of its gambling services for April 2015 - Digital Security
After ten years of activity in the supply of data protection service, people identities and digital transactions on the web, OpenTrust Keep Service, however one of the European market leaders, had just announced the end of its activities. "This end of service concerns both French and Danish regulations," said the company in a statement warning its members which will take effect from April 30, 2015. Since 2004, the year of its launch, OpenTrust has provided technology solutions to companies and business groups in over 175 countries, both in North America, the Middle East and especially in Europe. Several companies have trusted it in the treatment of their data related to the use of electronic identity cards and digital passports. OpenTrust is also a provider of applications and software to protect and control access to sensitive digital data of a company.
With the end of OpenTrust activities in France, many operators will be forced to find quickly reliable alternatives. Certainly OpenTrust still offer to accompany them until the expiration of their contract, however, the management of sensitive data, of a large enough volume and sometimes quite complex, intertwined on different platforms and systems will be a difficult task for its former customers. "If needed, OpenTrust may prepare for each customer a package containing gaming data for the national regulator," stated the team of OpenTrust in this release. However, migration to another supplier of the same type of service will always be a difficult task because this is a very picky service and seriously regulated.
