Jared Jaffee on top of Day 4s chip count - WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic
While the European Poker Tour Prague 2014 has just concluded with Stephen Graner grabbing the title, the poker room of Bellagio, in Las Vegas, is still abuzz with the World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classic Main Event 2014. After several days of intense action, the room is now preparing for Day 4 battle. The $ 10,400 buy-in WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic Main Event actually seduce 586 players, but only 78 remain in contention of the highly coveted title. Among those who make it through Day 4, 54 players will make the money while 15 of them will cash over $ 50,000 of prize. Interestingly, an enticing check of $ 1,477,890 will be awarded to the lucky one.
Jared Jaffee is entering Day 4 battle as the chip leader; on his hands is an impressive stack of 768,000 chips. The chip counts Top 10 include Chane Kampanatsanyakorn (584,500), Ralph Thomas (582,000), Keven Stammen (533,500), Aaron Massey (463,000), Chris Bolek (459, 500), Nick Petrangelo (458,000), Joshua Ladines (398,500), Kathy Liebert (388,500) and Garrett Greer (386,500). The husband of the world famed Canadian singer Celine Dion, René Angelil, along with other notable poker players such as Antonio Esfandiari, Will Failla, Isaac Baron, Kyle Julius, Dan Heimiller, Nick Schulman Ben Tollerene and Kathy Liebert are also part of the remaining 78-player field. Against his will, Daniel Negreanu hit the rail at the end of Day 3 despite his three re-entry attempts that cost him $ 50,000 in total.
