WPT Paris National: A third victory for Laurent Polito!
The World Poker Tour National Paris (WPT) gave a great moment of thrill since last week at the Cercle Clichy Montmartre. The Main Event has been won by Laurent Polito. Indeed, Laurent Polito shone again in this WPT National Series poker circuit for the third time to be more precise, this time in front of a record field of 682 poker player. In January 2013, Polito won his first victory in the poker room of the Aviation Club de France (ACF) face to a field of 229 players at the WPT National Paris. Last May, he won again in Cannes during which 390 participants were registered.
This time, Laurent Polito achieved the exploit by winning his second title of the year at a poker tournament that beat its previous records in terms of attendance. He won 140,000; it is his second biggest gain in his career after his victory during the High Roller of the EPT Barcelona in August 2012 which allowed him at this time to win 270,229. Having started the final day with the greatest stack, Polito didnt let anyone outstrip him till winning the title in front of other regulars of the circuit such as Carlo Savinelli (2nd, 94,500), William Wilhelm (third, 61,000) Alexandre Gama (4th, 45,000), David Lascar (5th, 35,000), Stephan Ouzilou (6th, 28,000), Franck Kalfon (7th, 22,500) and Omar Lakdhari (8th, 18,000). Laurent Polito achieved in style the last heads-up with the Italian Carlo Savinelli with a couple of ace face to the A9 of his opponent.
