A new record turnout this weekend in Enghien - BPT Deepstack
Enghien is a step that has always been up to the expectations of the organizers of the poker circuit Barrière Poker Tour Deepstack (BPT). For its second consecutive year, the BPT Enghien-les-Bains had broken the attendance record with 702 participants in the Main Event this year. This record field generated a prize pool around 300,000. This event of 570 buy-in was won by Alexander Réard, a regular at the Aviation Club de France (ACF). The closure of the ACF and the Cercle Cadet forced Parisians players to see over places and make a cross on poker tournaments in the French capital for several moments. Alexander Réard won the title and the amount of 53,300 promised to the winner after having beaten John Archibald Delafontaine during the final heads-up. But he still leaves the final table with 33,400 in prize money.
Aziz Bouhmad was eliminated in the last step of the podium and received 22,850 in cash. Clemente Carreira fell to the 4th place ( 15,800), followed by Xavier Detournel (5th, 12,300) and David Herbez (6th, 10,150). The winner of the DSO Lloret de Mar of last year, Saber Harrazi, fails in the 7th place for 8,350, an elimination which had succeeded those of Stephen Gapais (8th, 7,100), Jean Marc Chiba (9th, 6,300 ) and Nicolas Le Floch (10th, 5,600). For its part, the 1,000 BPT Masters high roller tournament gathered 138 participants and was won by Laurent Polito after a heads-up with Franck Kalfon.
