Scott Hosbach as winner of the Event # 1 - Seneca Niagara Fall Poker Classic 2014
The Seneca Niagara Fall Poker Classic 2014 (SNFPC) kicked-off last Saturday in the eastern part of the United States. As its name suggests, the event was hosted by the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, a gambling facility located in Niagara Falls, NY. The Seneca Niagara Fall Poker Classic features five poker events until November 9. Of course, the Main Event (from November 7 to 9) is the most anticipated battle in this SNFPC 2014. As a foretaste, the curtain went up on Saturday with the $ 500 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em. Two other events of $ 125 of buy-ins were run the following day, but that of Saturday recorded the highest turnout. With its 144 entries, the prize pool jumped up to $ 61,560.
Alongside his first-place finish in the Seneca Summer Slam 2014, Scott Hosbach dazzled the whole Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel poker room by winning the Seneca Niagara Fall Poker Classic 2014 Event # 1. Ten warriors battled the title out but it was Hosbach Scott who claimed the $ 10,334 first-place prize after a tough wrestle against Shogie Saysamone (2nd), Brian McCormick (3rd) and D.J. MacKinnon (4th). Scott Gaddi finished 5th place for $ 4,186, a bitter elimination preceded by that of Nick Walker (6th, $ 3,201), Bob Herman (7th, $ 2,462), Adam Foster (8th, $ 1,908) and Rob Bourkney (9th, $ 1,539). Tom MacKinnon was the first to head for the door; he earned $ 1,262 though.
