The festivity will kick-off on November 12 in Prague - 2014 Czech Poker Festival
The Czech Republic will host the sixth edition of the International Poker Championship of the Czech Republic, the Czech Poker Festival 2014, in mid-November. It is expected to attract a great number of poker enthusiasts from Eastern Europe. Every year, many poker players across Europe meet in Prague to participate in the Czech Poker Festival while enjoying the beauty of the city. As usual, the CPF is held in Prague, in the poker room of Smíchovské Card Casino and the newly operational Kings Casino. Scheduled from November 12 to 23, the festival features 16 events (12 major and 4 qualifying events), including the highly anticipated Main Event. Participation in the festival is opened for anyone who wants to indulge oneself in poker. The highlight of the CPF Championship is the 12,000 CZK buy-in No-Limit Holdem, an event which will be run over three days, from November 19 to 21. As a reminder, the Czech Poker Festival seduced 1,144 players last year, guaranteeing a prize pool of 1,000,000 CZK.
Like in the previous edition, battle will start with the tournament "Millionaire", renamed "Deepstack Millionaire". Participants will enter the game with 30,000 chips on 40-minute level of play for a buy-in of 3,000 CZK. Note that the 2014 CPF features multiple events, ranging from H.O.R.S.E to Pot-Limit Omaha 8-max, No-Limit 6-max and the poker variant Pineapple Open Face Chinese Poker as well. To spice all things up, the 2014 Czech Poker Festival will also host the 150 buy-in Poland Poker Tour 50,000 guarantee.
