Its first World Championship to be held in Prague - Open-Face Chinese Poker
Poker has become a sensation among card game players across the world. What it sets apart from other card games is that it offers a rich panel of variants. In recent years, the Open-Face Chinese Poker (OFC) has experienced a growing reputation around the globe, a good reason driving organizers to dedicate a related major competition. Indeed, the Open-Face Chinese Poker World Championship will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, in December prior to the Prague Poker Festival and the World Poker Tour National. Born out of the initiative of Lithuanias poker pro Tony G, his online poker room is organizing the competition. Recall that Tony G is an active member of the current European Parliament.
Named OFC Poker Live World Championship, the first edition chooses Kings Casinos Corinthia Hotel to host the event. Better yet, the poker room of Tony G raises the bar high by offering a 100% Chinese poker weekend to enthusiasts and high stakes poker players. May we remind you that the OFC includes among the favorite poker variants of high limit poker gurus. Thus, OFC Poker Live World Championship will feature two major events (the Main Event along with the super ambitious High Roller) and a satellite tournament of 120 buy-in to qualify for the Main Event. The Main Event will be run over two-day flights, accessible for 1,000 of entry-fee. The High Roller event, for its part, is scheduled on December 8 and is accessible for 10,000 of entry-fee.
