Sebastian Pauli leads the remaining 16-player field in chip count - EPT London 2014
The Euroepan Poker Tour London Main Event is running its penultimate day this Friday, October 17. The final table is slated to be held the next day with 8 players in contention for the title. Indeed, Day 2s 36-player field was played down to16 at the end of Day 3. Note that the winner of this poker tournament will cash nearly £ 500,000. German poker player Sebastian Pauli leads the 16 survivors heading to Day 4. A number of high-profiled poker stars including the current EPT Deauville champion Jake Cody also remains in the race for the 2014 EPT London title. Sebastian Pauli is best-placed to conclude Day 4 in style with 2,674,000 chips. He is closely followed by Jake Cody with 2,291,000 chips. Both players are the only contenders with a comfortable stack of over 2,000,000 chips
EPT London 2014 title hunters armed with over a million of chips include Raffaele Sorrentino (1,968,000), Artur Koren (1,865,000), Jakub Mroczek (1,623,000), Jonathan Bensadoun (1,465,000), Gino Gabriel (1,265,000), Joao Vieira (1,117,000) and Pablo Gordillo (1,077,000). Kevin MacPhee (869,000) with his double-EPT title wish alongside Kevin Killeen (906,000), Yann Pineau (900,000), Jonas Lauck (840,000), Simon Deadman (732,000), Ognyan Dimov (552,000) and Benny Spindler (195,000, the shortest stack) are also among the men to watch in this race. Unlucky as they are, Liv Boeree, Francis Foord-Brown, Team PokerStars Pro Mickey Petersen, Christian Favale, Kai Herold, Sergio Aido, Leo Nordin, Fadhil Farag and Joao Vieira are all knocked out. Daniel Erlandsson fell to 17th place, one seat away from qualifying for Day 4 battle.
