Season 9 kicks-off on January 14 in Melbourne - Asia Pacific Poker Tour
The organizers of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) announced the schedule of the APPT season 9. The poker festival is planned to enliven ten different sites. The new season will begin in mid-January with the Aussie Millions Poker Championship and will be closed by the Asia Championship of Poker. The festivity will run from January 14 to February 2nd, 2015, with the Aussie Millions Poker Championship at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. The APPT will then serve poker lovers with the ANZPT Perth (February 5 to 15), the Macau Poker Cup 22 (February 27 to March 15), the ANZPT Sydney (March 11 to 23), the APPT Seoul (April 7 to 12 ), the APPT Macau (May 13 to 24), the APPT Manila (July 31 to August 9), the Macau Poker Cup 23 (August 28 to September 13), the ANZPT Melbourne (October 8 to 20) and the Asia Championship of Poker (October30 to November15). This latter will close the season at PokerStars Live poker room in Macau.
As mentioned on the announcement, the Aussie Millions Poker Championship 2015 will kick off on January 14. This tournament will offer to fans of poker a 100% poker stay at Crown Melbourne with 21 events, including the highly anticipated Main Event. The latter is scheduled to run from January 25 to February 1st. Indeed, players will enter the battle with $ 10,600 of buy-in. The prize at stake: AU$ 1.6 million for the No.1 player. As a reminder, the Aussie Millions Poker Championship-Main Event 2014 brought together 668 participants. By crushing a number of poker stars including Sorel Mizzi, Jacob Balsiger, Darren Rabinowitz, Vincent Rubianes and Scott Seiver in the final table, Ami Barer emerged victorious and took home the AU$1.6-million first-place prize.
