Atlantic City will host the Season XIII of the WPT
The World Poker Tour (WPT) is undoubtedly one of the world famed poker festivals. The WPT is currently making another stop in Cyprus (Europe) with the WPT Merit Classic North Cyprus at Merit Crystal Cove Hotel & Casino. As to be expected, the tour announced on Monday that it will return to the United States in mid-September with the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open. This event will be held at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Atlantic City (New Jersey) from September 14 to 19. Actually, the said gaming facility will host four World Poker Tour events of the Season XIII. Though gambling market in Atlantic City suffered from a deep saturation, doubled by a never-ending crisis since the beginning of this year (Atlantic Club, Showboat and Revel Casino recently laid off over 5,000 employees), the tour is committed to make a challenging stop in Atlantic City.
Over the next eight months, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will vibrate with a series of poker tournaments including the WPT Invitational Monster (featuring 11 hours of television coverage on FSN), the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open and the WPT World Championship. Atlantic City will then conclude in style the Season XIII of the World Poker Tour with the season-ending WPT World Championship, scheduled on April 24, 2015. Note that Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has been a loyal partner of the tour for years, alongside partpoker.com and BorgataPoker.com as official sponsors of the poker festival. In short, this poker room is the perfect venue to host four televised WPT events in Season XIII, WPT President Adam Pliska argued.
