Antonio Buonanno bags up the chip lead of the WPT Merit Classic North Cyprus Day 4
The Day # 3 of the World Poker Tour Merit Classic North Cyprus concluded with 30 players remaining in the hunt for the title. Previously they were 79 participants to return to the luxurious poker room of Merit Crystal Cove Hotel & Casino on Day 2. Sam Trickett wrapped the day up by finishing 31st place. As he reached the 45 In The Money places, he got home with a prize amounted to $ 9,500. Louis Salter is crowned the bubble boy; he finished 46th place and headed to exit empty-handed. As for Aleksey Arakelov, this poker player was ousted out in 45th place for $8,500.
Antonio Buonanno will enter Day # 4 flight with a considerable chip lead over the 30 survivors of the event; he is armed with a stack of 1,175,000 chips. On the other side of the bench, Andrii Nadieliaiev, Dmitry Mezhirov, Andrejs Perederejevs, Igor Devkin, Michel Habib, Dmitry Bayramov and Nuri Kural are armed with less than 200,000 chips. Nuri Kural is the short stack of Day 4 with only 59,000 chips. The Main Event of the WPT Merit Classic North Cyprus will resume Tuesday, September 9th with Day 4 as the ultimate flight. Indeed, the 30-player field will be dropped down to a six-handed WPT television final table.
