APAT launches the very first Belgian Amateur Poker Championship in Namur
Paralleling the ongoing European Poker Tour Season 11 held at the Casino Barcelona, APAT (Amateur Poker Association & Tour) also launches the first edition of the Belgian Amateur Poker Championship (BAPC) in Namur (Belgium); it is scheduled to kick-off in September 19 to end in September 21, 2014. The BAPC is a national poker tournament which is expected to seduce a great number of Belgiums poker lovers and poker enthusiasts from its neighboring countries. Admittedly, the Belgian Amateur Poker Championship is not as popular as the EPT, but the event is worth a trip, especially for players who want to combine poker and leisure, as the city of Namur offers an unparalleled setting for a peaceful stay in the heart of Wallonia Needless to say, the citys casino has been a Mecca getaway for European gamblers these days.
Indeed, Namurs Casino is housing the Belgian Amateur Poker Championship from September 19 to 21. As mentioned above, this is the very first edition of its kind. With the great reputation Namurs Casino has earned for its ever enticing services, the 2014 BAPC is likely to attract a record-breaking field of players, in addition to its loyal customers who regularly participate in any poker tournament the casino itself runs. For this first Belgian Amateur Poker Championship, six live and online events will be offered to players, including the Main Event of 110 entry fee. The latter will be held over three days with two-day flights. For a buy-in of 110, participants will start the game with a stack of 15,000 chips on 45 minute level of blinds. Apart from the Main Event, the BAPC also offers a 65Cash Game tournament along with a 55 No Limit Holdem and a 55 Pot Limit Omaha event as well.
