The 4th edition schedule unveiled - Winamax Poker Tour 2014
The Winamax Poker Tour is one of the highly anticipated poker tournaments by poker enthusiasts in France in this second quarter of 2014. As expected, the Winamax Poker Tour kicks off its 4th edition in October 25 and visits 38 French municipalities prior to the Grand Final in the prestigious poker room of Cercle Clichy-Montamartre( launch date: February 2015). The 4th edition of Winamax Poker Tour will be inaugurated in October 25 and 26 at the Grande Halle de la Villette. The Paris Grand Final, for its part, will take place from February 26 to March 4, 2015, and will offer a guaranteed 500,000 prize pool. Meanwhile, free live tournaments will be run across France with 43 events in total; those events provide a number of seats to participate in Paris Grand Final.
As is the tradition, the Winamax Poker Tour begins with an online qualification. Players who clinch victory in the Sit & Go "Starting Block" and Tremplin event can join live tournaments organized in the selected cities. Additionally, players can directly join Paris Grand Final without going through the qualifying tournaments. To do so, they have to pay a buy-in of 550. Live tournaments in this Tour are free and best players will be granted tickets to the Grand Final. Interestingly, this 4th edition of the Winamax Poker Tour is marked by a distinctly different distribution of places at stake: 35 seats for Paris, 10 seats for Lyon, Rennes and Toulouse, and finally two seats for the other stops.
