A significant change after the November Nine - 2014 Card Player Player of the Year
The 45th edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) has just closed its doors earlier this week with the definition of the Main Events November Niners. After this poker tournament held in Rio-Las Vegas for almost two months, all poker pro and enthusiasts eyes are on the 2014 Card Player Player of the Year race. Admittedly the WSOP 2014 has brought a significant change in the rankings, including the points of November 10 and 11 finals have earned. In addition to the $ 10 million first-place prize, the WSOP Main Event winner will be given 3,300 points. As for the Mustapha Kanit, he is well ahead of his opponents with 4,514 points heading to POY race.
The nine finalists of the Main Event will collect a minimum prize of of $ 730,725 plus 275 points. Martin Jacobson has already had 608 points for his three final tables this year and his first place win in the 2,150 No-Limit Hold'em at the European Poker Tour Vienna. Dan Sindelar is also listed on the 2014 Card Player Player of the Years rankings thanks to his 280 points for his third place at the 2014 Wynn Classic, a poker event of $ 250,000 guaranteed prize. So far, Italian poker player Mustapha Kanit leads the 2014 Card Player POY scores with 4,514 points; he is followed by Dylan Wilkerson (3,316 points), Dominik Panka (3,315 points), Mike McDonald (3,312 points); Keven Stammen with his 3,052 points completes the Top 5 standings in this POY race. Davidi Kitai, Sorel Mizzi, Eugene Katchalov, JC Tran, Vanessa Selbst, Mukul Pahuja and Isaac Baron also secure comfortable seats among the Top 20 in this race prior to the WSOP Main Event final table.
