Uruguay beat England - Brazil World Cup 2014
England is now at its second defeat in the first hurdle of the Brazil World Cup 2014 as they fell to Uruguay in Sao Paulo on Thursday. Many gamblers wagered on that game on sports betting platforms. Suffering from two losses, the first a 2-1 to Italy, England is now at risk of heading to a bitter exit following Spain, Cameroun and Australia. The fate of the Three lions thus relies on the Italy Vs Costa Rica game this Friday, a game on which gamblers can gamble via online sports betting sites. In case the South-American team wins or engages in a draw, England will definitely be eliminated from the competition.
Though he missed their game against Costa Rica (3-1 Uruguays defeat), Luis Suarez made a name of himself facing England on Thursday in Sao Paulo. The Liverpool FC striker recently crowned Best Scorer of the English football championship crucified Rooney and Co with a real master stroke. El Pistolero opened the scoring after 39 minutes of play thanks to a nice pass from the Parisian Edinson Cavani. As for England, Wayne Rooney successfully scores a hint-of-hope goal for his team at the 75th minute, but Suarez overshadowed it by adding another goal 5 minutes before the final whistle (85th). So far, Costa Rica provisionally secures its first place in Group D prior to its clash against Italy. As ironical as it seems, Uruguay is the only one team in the group which has never had a world title, unlike Italy in 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006, Uruguay (1930 and 1950) and England in 1966.
