Davidi Kitai wins his third bracelet - WSOP 2014
The Belgian poker player Davidi Kitai emerges victorious in the $ 3,000 Six handed NL Holdem. This is actually his third WSOP (World Series Of Poker) bracelet. He is now the first non-American player to win a WSOP championship title this summer. As a reminder, Kitai got his first bracelet of his career in 2008 when he won in the $ 2,000 Holdem Pot Limit tournament. At that time, he collected $ 244,583. His second bracelet is dated back in 2013 when he emerged victorious in the same tournament. We can clearly say that Kitai has a brilliant career filled with great success. Davidi Kitai is listed among the players who have won the Triple Crown, comprising a World Poker Tour (WPT), a European Poker Tour (EPT) and a WSOP title.
His current exploit in Rio has provided him a big prize of $ 508,640. His total tournaments earnings are now valued at $ 4.7 million. Thanks to that symbolic performance in the WSOP, the Belgian poker player has garnered many points which enable him to join the top 5 Players of The Year board. In this $ 3,000 poker tournament, Kitai had to play against great icons of poker, including Phil Hellmuth, who was seeking the fourteenth bracelet of his career. Unfortunately, the latter was kicked out to the 8th place. Gordon Vayo secured runner-up and pocketed $ 314,535 for his second place. Tony Ruberto finished third; he took home a prize of $ 200,476. Mark Darner, John Andress and Zachary Korik completed the podium; they respectively ranked 4th, 5th and 6th.
