George Danzer won his very first bracelet in the $ 10,000 Razz Event - WSOP 2014
George Danzer won his first WSOP bracelet in the $ 10,000 Seven Card Razz Championship, Event# 18. This poker tournament has attracted 112 participants, generating a prizepool of $ 1,052,800; that sum of money was shared out to the 16 best players in this tournament. The bubble burst when Jesse Martin was eliminated at the 17th position by Brian Hastings. Daniel Negreanu delivered a great performance in this poker event, but he headed the exits with $ 28,878 for his 10th position. Actually he missed his first chance to win both his seventh bracelet and the bet over Phil Ivey, a challenge launched few days earlier in which he or Phil are set to grab a bracelet in this 45th edition of the World Series Of Poker.
George Danzer won over the seven other finalists and earned a check of $ 294,792. He began the final table as third in terms of stack behind Yuval Bronshtein and Naoya Kihara. And at the end of the day, the German poker player emerged victorious over the Heads-up clash facing Brandon Shack-Harris. The latter settled with a win of $ 182,155 for his runner-up place; he failed to win his second bracelet this summer. In fact, Shack-Harris won the $ 1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha one week earlier. Todd Barlow was eliminated in the third place for $ 114,081 of prize. The chipleader of the day, Yuval Bronshtein fell to the fourth place for $ 82,602. As for Brian Hastings, he secured the fifth seat for $ 64,557. Todd Dakake ($ 51,481), Naoya Kihara ($ 51,481) and David Bach ($ 34,500) were respectively 6th, 7th and 8th in the rankings.
