Guy Constant Gossens secures the chipleaders place - Eureka Poker Tour
The second stage of the Season 4 of the Eureka Poker Tour circuit has begun this week with the Eureka Warm-Up, a 220 buy-in tournament that guarantees a prizepool of 100,000. Indeed, 107 players have participated on Day 1A of the Warm-Up tournament at Kings Casino Rosvadov. At the end of the day, the event successfully saw 127 subscribers, including 17 re-entries. 260 participants were registered on Tuesday, Day 1B, which propelled the number of Warm-Up players to 384. As expected, the event brought together numerous players from all over Europe like Belgium, Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Slovakia and Bulgaria; Germany and Austria were the countries with large representatives in this festivity.
116 players are qualified for Day 2, 35 of whom emerged from Day 1A and 81on Day 1B. Gus Constant Gossens is the chipleader. This Belgian poker player secures a comfortable seat on Day 2 with a stack of 185,000 chips. The remaining seats in the Top 10 are respectively represented by Hans Kersebom in the second place with 173,300 chips, followed by Denis Simionel (157,400), Grigore Boroica (153,500), Petr Veselý (144,600), Olga Iermolcheva (144,400), Jaroslaw Sikora (141,000), Roman Cieslik (139,300), Karel Kovarik (138,100) and Andrey Maximenko (126,800). Ivo "The Chessmaster" Donev and recent winner of the German Poker Tour Main Event, Jakub Kyrian were eliminated on Day 1B. The 116 survivors in this poker tournament will get back to the Day 2 table on Wednesday, May 28.
