The latest regional event in Columbus, from May 16 to 25 - Hollywood Poker Open
The Hollywood Casino of Columbus in Ohio will host from Friday the latest regional event of the Hollywood Poker Open, Season 2. 16 events are scheduled all along the 10 days of the HPO Columbus. The festivity will be opened by a $ 450 NLH tournament. In addition to that, other lower buy-in poker tournaments like the $ 125 Nightly-No-Limit and the $ 235 NLH Deepstack will be also on the menu. But the Main Event remains the highlight of this Ohio poker series even though several tournaments are provided during these 10 days of competition. Indeed, the Main Event guarantees a prizepool of $ 100,000 from May 24, preceding which will be organized four other satellite events. With only $ 235, players are offered an opportunity to qualify for the Main Event without paying $ 1,800 of buy-in.
The Main Event winner will cash a large share of the prizepool, a trophy and an all-in package to head for the HPO Championship. That great event will be held in June at the M Resort Casino & Spa in Las Vegas poker room in Las Vegas. And the inaugurating $ 450 No Limit HoldÂ’em of the HPO Columbus will run over three days with an unlimited re-entry until the Day 1B. The ultimate clash will be held on Sunday May 18, and the great winner will receive $ 2,500 seat to the HPO Championship Main Event. After all, this is a great poker event not to be missed!
