Asia Championship of Poker 2014: A provisional calendar of 21 events
The Asia Championship Of Poker (ACOP) is one of the biggest live poker tournaments in the Asia-Pacific region. This year, the ACOP organizes its third edition and the scheduled programs will be more interesting than the two previous editions. Organizers presented on Monday the ACOP 2014 tentative schedule. It includes 21 events, set over 17 days of festivity. This third edition will take place at City Of Dreams in Macao from October 24 to November 9. As a reminder, the two previous titles were won respectively by Zhou Xing and Sunny Jung in a field of 184 and 203 players. With the good reputation of the ACOP and the symbolic icon that Macao holds in the poker industry in Asia-Pacific region, the organizers hope to break the attendance record during this ACOP 2014 $ HK 100,000 Main Event.
Although the full details of the event are not yet communicated, we already know that 21 tournaments will be planned in the ACOP 2014 poker event schedule, along with 4 other satellite tournaments. These tournaments will be available from HK $ 2,500. But the Main Event remains the most awaited game of that event. Other events may also interest a larger number of players such as the $ HK 250,000 guaranteed High Roller, the $ HK 500,000 Super High Roller, and the HK $ 8,800 2M GTD Spadie. As its name suggests, the 2M Spadie GTD has a guaranteed prize pool of 2 million HK dollars for a buy-in of only $ HK 8,800. In addition to that, a poker team tournament, which is the $ HK 4,000 Teams Event and a special poker tournament for female poker players, the $ HK 8,800 Ladies Asia Championship are also introduced in the calendar.
