WSOP Circuit The Lodge Casino: Won by Eric Blair
The regional stage of the World Series Of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) in Blackhawk, Colorado, saw the victory of Eric Blair over Nicholas Petitti! With a very affordable buy-in of $ 1,675, the WSOPC Main Event which was held in The Lodge Casino poker room in Blackhawk gathered 330 participants. The field has generated a prize pool of $ 495,000 including Eric Blairs $ 116,325 and an all-in package for the WSOP National Championship 2014 which will take place in Ballys Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City, from May 22 to 24. Nine poker players competed in the final table of this poker tournament: Gino Levrini, Corey Zedo, Alexander Greenblatt, Nicholas Petitti, Eric Blair, Brian Hartner, Jonathan Haidsiak, Craig Varnell and Michael Wolf.
Finishing 9th, Brian Hartner was the first to leave the table with a gain of $ 10,737. Three other players had also been eliminated before an interruption was made in the evening. The 8th position was drawn for Jamie Wolf; he won $ 13,454. He was followed by Jonathan Haidsiak with $ 17,112 (7th) and Gino Levrini (6th) with $ 22,092. As for Corey Zedo, he was the first eliminated player out of the five remaining participants racing for the title. Finishing fifth, he got home with 28,967. The elimination of Alexander Greenblatt and Craig Varnell respectively fourth ($ 38,585) and third ($ 52,237) was a good opportunity for Nicholas Petitti to find himself facing the final Heads-up with Eric Blair. As the latter largely took the lead, he comfortably accomplished a good win in this WSOP Circuit, leaving Petitti at the second place but with a much deserved prize of 77,924 $.
