France Poker Series: Monaco inaugurates the season 4
After a season crowned by huge success, the circuit of poker France Poker Series (FPS) comes back for a new season by this week. The season 4 of the France Poker Series is going to be inaugurated by a stage in Monaco, a very first for the circuit, from April 23rd to 27th, by the occasion of the EPT 10 Grand Final. The FPS Monaco will take place in Monte Carlo in the sumptuous Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. 48 events are planned during these five days, including the traditional Main Event. Apart from this FPS Main Event with a buy-in of 10,000 + 600 and the various satellite tournaments, the players will be able to discover a wide range of tournaments from an entry fee of 110, following the examples of the NL Turbo, Pot Limit Courcheval, PLO Turbo Bounty, Chinese Open Face, PLO Turbo, NL - Last Chance Turbo, NLH, NLH Turbo, High Roller, as well as the Super High Roller with a buy-in of 100,000.
Numerous players are waited in the poker room of Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort after a previous season rather promising in terms of crowds. The stage of Deauville has gathered a field of 1,095 participants, Paris (818 registered), Cannes (559), Amnéville (417) and Évian (287). The introduction of Monaco in the schedule of the season 4 should attract a lot of visitors, all the more that the opening of the new season co-occurs with the holding of the European Poker Tour 10 Grand Final. After Monaco, the FPS will link up with one online tournament from May 18th to 20th, and will have a stop in Cannes (September 30th to October 2nd) and Paris (November 15th to 22nd) before closing the season with the FPS Finale Deauville in January 2015.
