ESPT: Fabio Sperling wins the stage of Valencia on a field of 414 players
After a week of fierce competition in the poker room of Casino Cirsa, the Estrellas Poker Tour Valencia (ESPT) ended on the beautiful victory of Fabio Sperling. 414 poker players took part in the Main Event, but only eight of them were qualified for the final table and pretend for the 77,000 promised to the winner, namely Haritz Doyharzábal, Jordi Martínez, Benjamín García, Raúl Alonso, Amir Farhangi, Vicente Serra, Fabio Sperling and José Martínez. José Martínez was the first player who left the final table for a prize of 9,400. Benjamin Garcia was eliminated in the seventh place by Fabio Sperling. He left the table with a gain of 12,940.
Amir Farhangui was the next and received 17,400 for his sixth place. Haritz Doyharzábal was the chipleader of the final table, but he was eliminated in the fifth place, just after the 2-hour break, and settled with a prize of 22,600. The future winner undertook to eliminate one by one the last players left on the table, beginning with Vicente Serra (4th), followed 20 minutes later by Raul Alonso (3rd). Fabio Sperling and Jordi Martínez met in heads-up with a respective stack of 6,400,000 and 1,700,000 chips. Jordi Martínez, who counted a great late in chips number, didnt resist a long time in front of his opponent. Fabio Sperlings performance was rewarded with 77,000, while the second short stack of the final table, Jordi Martínez, had to content himself with 48,800 for his second place.
