Lebanese Poker Cup 2014: Monday March 31st, a busy day with 3 major events
Since Wednesday, the luxurious Splendid Hotel Spa & Resort of Montenegro has been hosting two large-scale poker events in Eastern Europe: the Russian Poker Tour (RPT) and the Lebanese Poker Cup (LPC). The Main Event of the RPT came to an end on Saturday with the victory of Komarov Georgyi for a prize of 62,000, while the Main Event of the LPC 2014 continues its progress until tomorrow. The event guarantees a prizepool of 200,000 for a buy-in of 1,650. The participants benefited from a departure stack of 30,000 chips, with blinds increasing each 45 minutes. After three days of fierce competition in the poker room of the Splendid Hotel, 35 players qualified for the Day 3.
Komarov Georgyi is the leader of the field with a stack of 62,000 chips. David Sparow and Knezevic Milovan are also occupying comfortable places at the start of this penultimate day of the Main Event, with respective stacks of 35,450 and 22,600 chips. In the Top 10 of the chipcount, we find also Bibic Nikola, Hadioglu Nuei, Karakalov Nugza, Biskupovic Regov, Anton Sereb, Pursun Anar and Banicevic Vlado. Apart from the Main Event, numerous events took place throughout the week, especially satellite tournaments, but also Side Events such as the Under Pressure Knockout, the Ultra Deepstack Freezeout, the Montenegro Championship 6-max, as well as the High Roller. This High Roller tournament is going to begin this Monday on levels of blinds of 45 minutes and 30,000 departure stacks. The final table will be played tomorrow with levels of 60 minutes.
