Poker webcasting: Broadcasting of the Eureka Poker Tour on EPTLive
Since a few years, webcast was an integral part of the European Poker Tour with its EPTLive. Earlier in this week, the president of the EPT, Edgar Stuchly, announced the introduction of the Eureka Poker Tour in the EPTLive. The inclusion of the Eureka Poker Tour in the EPTLive is a great first one for the EPT and the community of poker worldwide, because in the past, the EPTLive settled to broadcast images of regional circuits on the web. The purpose of the « EPTLive » webcast is to develop the industry of gambling, to share with all fans of poker all over the world the atmosphere and experience in live tournaments, and consequently attract new players, explained M. Stuchly. This complete broadcasting of a final table finale of the Eureka Poker Tour will be for the EPT an opportunity to determine the continuation of the broadcasting in the future. In fact, the results and comments of spectators will be decisive for the pursuit of the broadcasting of regional final tables on the EPTLive for 2015.
As a reminder, the Eureka Poker Tour is the most select circuit in central and Eastern Europe. Since its launch in 2011, more than 15,500 players have been participating in the event, and about 8 million have been shared in the Main Events of the Eureka Poker Tour. The enthusiasts of live poker tournaments will be able to watch the first EPTLive of the Eureka Poker Tour in March 23rd at 01:00 p.m. local time, by the occasion of the final table of the Main Event at 1,100. The EPTLive is proposed in 15 languages and the spectators will have the opportunity to vote for the table to broadcast.
