Poker Belgique Masters: Milan Novák wins the Main Event
The poker tournament Poker Belgique Masters was held as expected at the end of last week at King's Casino Rozvadov, in Czech Republic. The poker room of the gambling facility was full to bursting during the holding of the Main Event with a guaranteed prizepool of 100,000. With its three departure days, the Main Event with a buy-in of 249 gathered 462 incomers. But the field generated 100,543 and exceeded consequently the guaranteed prizepool announced by the organizers. The event guaranteed 45 places for a minimum gain of 480. Helmut Pajer was the first player paid during the eve of the final table.
The Czech Milan Novák won the event in front of the Polish Maciej Kondraszuk. Milan Novák was rewarded with a cash prize of 23,155, while Maciej Kondraszuk, runner-up of the tournament, settled with 14,312. The best local player participating in the Main Event of the Poker Belgique Masters, Radomir Novocic, was in the 3rd place for a gain of 9,417. Other players were also widely rewarded for their performance at King's Casino Rozvadov. It was the case of the German Marcus Tretter and the Italian Vincenzo Malvetti, who left the final table with respective gain of 6,577 and 4,853 for their 4th and 5th place. From Wednesday, March 12nd, the casino will be the host of a new regional circuit: the Italian Poker Spring Challenge. For a buy- in of 244, the participants will receive a departure stack of 44,000 chips, with blinds increasing all 45 minutes. The re-entry formula offers the possibility to players to reregister during the three departure days. The final table is planned for Monday, March 17th of this year.
