WPT L.A. Poker Classic: Patrick Bruel ranks 7th among 18 eligible survivors
After four intense days of poker at Commerce Hotel & Casino in Los Angeles, survivors of the WPT L.A. Poker Classic Main Event move to the Day 5 this Wednesday when the six finalists will be nominated. 63 players took off with this tournament from the beginning of the Day 4 and only 18 of them survived at the end of the day. Josh Neufeld was the chipleader at the start of this Day 5 with a 2,326,000 chips as stack. He holds a comfortable rank during this semi-final because his direct pursuers have 1.8 million of chips in hands: Glenn Lafaye (1,743,000), Chris Moorman (1,731,000), Joe Serock (1,596,000), Michael Rocco (1,410,000), Adam Friedman (1,244,000) and Patrick Bruel (1,039,000). At the 7th place, the French singer is in a good position so; he may be entitled as winner of this tournament, or at least, will receive a full pay envelope.
The day 5 will take place and will have Michael Pickett, Erkut Yilmaz, Ludovic Assouline, Tab Thiptinnakon, Kazu Oshima, Allen Pock, Alexandru Masek, Huy Lam, Heath Mendelsohn, Hasan Habib and Dan O'Brien as runners. Ravi Raghavan was the unlucky guy of the day when WPT Player of the Year of the Season X, Joe Serock eliminated him. He ranks now 19th. The list of remarkable players eliminated this day contains Jonathan Duhamel (61st), Andy Frankenberger (60th), Mike Sexton (51st), Jason Mercier (43th), Eugene Katchalov (40th), Ryan D'Angelo (37th), Jesse Yaginuma (33th), Greg Merson (31st) and Matt Waxman (26th). They will compete until the 6 players who will compose the final table of this poker tournament will be known.
