Live Tournament: Birth of the MPN Poker Tour
Microgaming Poker Network Poker Tour of MPN Poker Tour has just integrated the rank of circuits of live poker in Europe. The creator of the event, none other than the publisher of gaming platforms Microgaming, has let known its enthusiasm about the success of this tournament, during a press release. However, it will be a huge challenge to take up, given that the annual calendar of live poker tournaments is already rather tight. The competition is hard and aiming at attracting more players, a lot of organizers establish various tactics. Among others, we quote the creators of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) who have decided to organize each two years and alternately the tournaments WSOP Europe and WSOP APAC. What could generate the success of this new circuit is the willingness of its organizer to propose tournaments with moderate buy-in. The fact that Microgaming is also a partner of numerous operators can be also an advantage, because it can organize several online qualifying satellites.
Let us note that the company has already developed a compact program including three stages for this year. The inaugural step will take place in London, in the United Kingdom, from May 29th to June 2nd of this year. The Aspers Stratford casino is the host of the event. This MPN Poker Tour London will include a main event with a buy-in of £550 and a deepstack structure, a side event at £165 entitled Big Night Out, a bounty tournament at £100, a Turbo tournament at £35 with rebuy called Mosh Pit Live, an event of Open-Face-Chinese Poker at £55 and an Omaha tournament at £165. The two other stages will take place in Malta during the summer season, and in Tallinn in Estonia. The exact dates of both events are still unknown.
