BPT Deepstack Montreux: Nathan Keck wins the trophy
For its first stopover in Switzerland, the Barrière Poker Tour (BPT) Deepstack has registered a huge success. In fact, it has recorded a wide field of 417 participants. The poker tournament ended by the victory of a local player named Nathan Kecks. Let us note that it is about the greatest performance of the Swiss player in live tournaments. According to some sources, he has stopped to play at poker after few so-so results, including two paid places in Italian tournaments. However, someone has encouraged him to participate in the BPT Montreux, by paying his buy-in. We have to say that this person was right to believe in Nathan Keck, because the latter has succeeded to dominate a wide field composed of talented players. The Helvetian player has got a reward of CHF 58,631 for his victory, which equals to about 48,000.
Nathan Keck has beaten Patrick Liénard in the final heads up. As runner-up, the latter has pocketed CHF36, 086. On the other hand, the third place went to Claude Metais, who was entitled with a prize of CHF 24,790. Angel Prieto, Karim Sidaoui, Bartu Ihsan Ugurtas, Valentin Roduit, Mathieu Vizioz and Henri Loretto complete the final table and are respectively ranked 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th. Organized in the margins of this main tournament, the event Masters with a buy-in of 1,000 which has gathered 12 players has also crowned its owner. Its about Kevin Abecassis. The latter has defeated Hugo Pingray in the final duel and has pocketed 6,300.
