Card Poker Player Tour Foxwoods: Triumph of Ronnie Pease
Ronnie Pease is elected champion of the Card Poker Player Tour (CPPT) Foxwoods 2014. It is an obvious victory as the player of poker has showed his strength since the beginning of the round. He has finished the first day of competition as chipleader, and he managed to keep this title of honor at the end of the Day 2. During the final day, Pease has persevered. Thus, after 11 hours of game, he was qualified for the ultimate duel opposing him to the champion of the World Series Of Poker 2012 Chris Tryba. It was an epic battle which lasted about three hours. Despite his advantage in chips number, Tryba didnt manage to slow down his young opponent. Little by little, Pease has increased his chipcount and has eventually eliminated Tryba. He has thus won the trophy and the first prize of $91,347, defined following a deal between the two parties. This victory has also allowed him to improve his position in the ranking Player of The Year, as he has amassed 480 points.
This final of the CPPT Foxwoods was also marked by the achievement accomplished by Mike Jarvela and Frank Paul. The first has started the day with the lowest stack. However, he has climbed the bronze place. As for Frank Paul, this truck driver of the New Hampshire has qualified for the event, during a satellite at $200. For a recreative player as him, reaching the fourth place during a major poker tournament is lice a significant achievement. After this final rich in action, the CPPT will stop over at the Atlantis casino in Reno in Nevada, from March 21st to 30th 2014.
