Paris Open of Poker: Hugo Lemaire shines in the Gold Championship
Hugo Lemaire was crowned champion of the Gold Championship of the Paris Open Of Poker 2014. This poker tournament with a buy-in of 3,000 has gathered in the poker room of the Aviation Club de France (ACF) many French stars. Its important to say that this regular of the ACF has once more dominated on his territory. In fact, this player realized two of his greatest achievements within this establishment, namely a victory in the Diamond Event of the EFOP 2010, and a silver medal in the World Poker Tour Grand Prix of Paris, in 2011. Hugo Lemaire has thus climbed once more the first step of the podium of the ACF to receive his prize, more precisely a gain of 55,585.
We have to stress that the young champion has taken part in an interesting duel, opposing him to Davidi Kitai before his coronation. It was an aggressive meeting during which the Belgian has tried to stand out on all fronts. He has managed well to give a rough ride to his opponent during 40 minutes. But Hugo Lemaire has finally ousted him. Thus, Davidi Kitai settled with the place of runner-up endowed with a bonus of 37,055. The third place was occupied by Fouad Rabahie. The champion of the event Silver Championship, Marc Trijaux, was also included in the list of finalists. But he bowed in the 5th position. He has pocketed 10,950 for this new performance. Jeremy Nock, Nicolas Dervaux, Gangzhou Hu, Julien Pitcho and Christophe Pommier have finished respectively 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th.
