Borgata Winter Poker Open: Victory of Michael Fiorito during the Event #11
In the framework of the Borgata Winter Poker Open, two events ended on Tuesday, under the eyes of fanatics of poker. The Event #8 « 400 $ Deeper Stack NLHE re-entry » and the Event #11 « 450 $ PLO re-entry » were respectively marked by the registration of 1,392 and 86 players. After a few hours of relentless competition, Nicholas "Frenzuh" Immekus and Michael Fiorito stood out in the day of Tuesday, at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa of Atlantic City, in the United States, during these two poker tournaments. Nicholas Immekus got rid of a hardly played final table, after 18 hours of game. He pocketed $99,144 for his victory at the « $250,000 Guaranteed DeepStack NLHE Re-Entry » after a heads-up with Allyn Marshall ($51,318). David Heck left the table with a gain of $36,389, after the elimination of Andrew Carnevale (4th / $30,556), David Gerard (5th / $25,425), Eric Rappaport (6th / $20,530), Jason Tulloss (7th / $15,895), James Governa (8th / $11,665) and David Gerassi (9th / $8,399).
After 15 hours of game at the « 450 Big Stack Pot-Limit Omaha Re-Entry », Michael Fiorito stood out in a tournament which was marked by the participation of notable players such as Allen Kessler, Dan Heimiller, Chris Reslock as well as Roland Israelashvili. Winner of the $500 Pot-Limit Omaha Black Chip Bounty during the Borgata Summer Poker Open 2013, Michael Fiorito starts the new year with a prize of $11,543, in a final table composed by Joseph Stiers(2nd / $6,266), Helder Martins (3rd / $3,958), Anthony Caruso (4th / $2,968), Ryan O'Reilly (5th / $2,309), Jason Rosenberg (6th / $1,979 ), Peter Ippolito (7th / $1,649 ), Matt Kelly (8th / $1,337 ) and Morgan Litwin (9th / $1,003).
