Ivey League: Launching planned at the end of January
Online poker is an industry in full rebirth in the United States and in full growth in the rest of the world. In front of the interest of keen players on the game, a website for learning online poker could be launched at the end of January. In fact, the pro player Phil Ivey intends to launch its new website, Ivey League, to teach players online poker and the best mean to practice it in the right way. The training will be enriched with video sequences of different learning steps that players are able to download. The training will be assured by pros, Phil Ivey himself and the other members of the Ivey Team: Dan Shak, Patrik Antonius, Jen Harmon and James Dempsey.
On last Friday, the Ivey League made the headlines of ShoBox: The New Generation which took place at Cook Convention Center of Memphis. Before its official launching, the new website of Phil Ivey will team up with various televised sports events. The choice of ShoBox was natural for Phil Ivey and the website Ivey League, according to the Chief Operating Officer of Ivey Poker, Clete McQuinn, given its fame in the universe of showtime on televised sports like boxing. The American Phil Ivey has won 9 WSOP bracelets and a WPT title, which has earned him the recognition of being one of the greatest players of online and live poker in the world. In his career, Phil Ivey has won an earning of almost $18 million. And his biggest gain in a poker tournament dated back to 2009; more than $1.4 million during a final table of the Main Event of the WSOP.
