PCA 2014 Main Event: The final table is defined!
On Sunday evening, the 20 survivors of the Main Event of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) went back inside the poker room of Atlantis Resort, to battle for the eight seats of the final table. The day was short because it took only a few hours so that the half of the field was out of the game. The final table was defined when Max Silver left the tables in the 9th place. Madis Muur is the chipleader of the final table, with a huge stack of $6,205,000 chips, while his direct pursuer, Mike McDonald, is at 5,605,000 chips. McDonald is one of the players to follow during this final table, which will be held from this Monday from noon. As a reminder, « Timex » has already won a step of the European Poker Tour, that of Dortmund during the Season 4. The final table will be also composed by Pascal Lefrancois (5,595,000), Dominik Panka (3,695,000), Fabian Ortiz (3,040,000), Isaac Baron (2,995,000), Daniel Gamez (1,885,000) and Shyam Srinivasan (1,505,000).
The November Nine of the WSOP 2009 and last French of the PCA 2014 Main Event, Antoine Saout, was eliminated in the 16th place, while he started the Day 5 in the last place of the podium with 2,432,000 chips, just after Mike McDonald and Madis Muur who counted more than 3 million chips at the beginning of the day. The final table guarantees a minimum prize of $173,220, while the two best players will end this poker tournament with seven-digit prizes: $1,820,420 for the winner and $1,101,080 for the runner-up.
