Tangier Millionaire Maker: A 2nd edition planned from March 12th to 16th 2014
After a first edition crowned by a success, the Tangier Millionaire Maker is coming back this year with one million dirham (90,000) for the winner. The Casino of Tangier, located in the eponym city, in the north of Morocco, will be the host of this poker tournament, more and more preferred by French players. For that purpose, numerous pro players coming from neighboring countries and from Europe, especially France and Spain, are awaited again in Morocco, for this event which should strengthen its fame with a very promising first edition. In last November, the Tangier Millionaire Maker gathered 290 registrations, including 74 re-entries. Manuel Sadornil won this first edition before Marcel Luske and Joao Correira. After a deal between these three players, Manuel Sadornil pocketed Dhs730,000, against Dhs500,000 for the two others.
Organized by the Tangier Poker Club, the Tangier Millionaire Maker hopes to beat its previous record attendance with this high-level poker, on a deep structure of 35,000 departure chips, on levels of 45 minutes at the Day 1 and 60 minutes for the next rounds. The Tangier Millionaire Maker will take place at the poker room of the Casino of Tangier, from March 12th to 16th, and the participants should pay a buy-in of 900 (Dhs 9,900), with the possibility to reregister in case of premature elimination. Satellite tournaments will be also organized for the places at the Day 1B and 1C, for a buy-in of Dhrs1,000 + 500.
