WPT National Series Marrakesh: The Main Event begins this Thursday, October 3
In recent years, Morocco became an increasingly popular destination inside poker players, including French. After two years of absence in the calendar of the World Poker Tour, Morocco is back in this period of first day of school and will host a stopover of the World Poker Tour National Series. The edition 2013 of the WPT National Marrakesh began last Tuesday, October 3rd in the poker room of Casino Es Saadi in Marrakesh. The event will run until October 6, with eleven events on the program. During the first two days, the WPT National Series Marrakesh will have in its program two side events: the 500 Deepstack and the Win The Button of 135 buy-in. Sonny Franco won the Deepstack tournament face to a field of 453 players.
traditional Main Event, 8 side events are planned namely the Bounty, the NLH, the Ante Only, the River Face Up, the 8-Handed Freezeout, the Six -Handed and the High -Roller for a buy -in of 135 to 1,820. The Main Event of 1,500 buy-in will be played on 60 minutes levels and a starting stack of 30,000 chips from Thursday, October 3. Many renowned French players who know how to play poker did the trip for this Moroccan escape of the WPT National Series. It includes among others Jean -Philippe Rohr, Roger Hairabedian, Philippe Ktorza, Guillaume Darcourt, Erwann Pécheux, Brian Benhamou, Paul Tedeschi, Anas Tadini and also Rebecca Gerin.
