New Jersey: The opening of the first online poker room before December
New Jersey is the third American State which legalized online poker in the United States. Since a little time, the State gets ready to receive its first online poker rooms, after that the Governor Chris Christie ratified the law regulating the sector in February 2013. The introduction of online gaming is a necessity for the industry of poker of New Jersey, especially for land-based casinos of Atlantic City, which know a continual decrease of revenue during these last years. Most of casinos of New Jersey, which deposited an application for a license which allow offering an online poker, concluded a partnership with platforms or providers of online gaming. Only Revel Casino Hotel and Atlantic Club remain partners in Atlantic City. Revel is under the process of "Bankruptcy protection", while Atlantic Club didnt conclude the deal with PokerStars, which planned to repurchase the casino.
