Online poker: Caesars follows the trace of Ultimate Poker in the USA
After Ultimate Poker, casinos in the United States rush also to develop their platforms of online poker. This week, enthusiasts of online poker of the State of Nevada are going to receive a new online poker room, after the legalization of online gambling, within this State, since the month of February of this year. In fact, Caesars Entertainment Corp. will launch a poker room in real money, this September 19th of this year, under the brand of the World Series of Poker. With this new poker website, Caesars Entertainment will share the market of online poker in Nevada, with Ultimate Poker, the platform of poker of the Station Casinos LLC. Since its launch in last April, the operator Ultimate Poker announced in August that 10 million hands have already been played on the website.
Baptized WSOP.com, Caesars EntertainmentÂ’s new poker platform on internet could meet a big hit with the potentiality of player that Nevada offers. In fact, Caesars has registered 12,000 potential players, during the 44th edition of the World Series of Poker, which was held a month ago in Las Vegas. Moreover, enthusiasts of poker living in Nevada or just passing through this State, will be able to discover a wide range of poker variants, following the example of Texas HoldÂ’em, Stud or Omaha. For 2017, the market of online gaming in the United States is estimated at $7.4 billion, according to the research firm H2 Gaming Capital, and the State of Nevada will bring its input of about $400 million.
