BarrierePoker.fr: Closure for September 30th
The closure of the poker room BarrierePoker.fr for September 30th of this year is henceforth official. The room leaves the French market after three good and faithful services. Recently, LB Poker has just let it know via an official statement. Lucien Barrière leaves the French market because of financial difficulties that he is currently facing. The Group didnt hide that it wasnt able to compete with the other websites; given the too restrictive policies imposed by the French Online gambling authority (ARJEL), especially as gamers began to sulk the French online poker. The second quarter 2013 was a disaster for a website like BarrierePoker.fr. Despite this fall of the market, LB Poker nevertheless let know that it remains present in B2B technological activities at the world level.
In fact, the Group has always for ambition to evolve continuously and expects to become a leader in France as well as in the world level, in terms of digital development. For proof, LB Poker signed in 2010, with the company Caesars Interactive, holder of the brand WSOP (World Series of Poker), global number 1 of casinos. LB Poker hopes to continue on this way, by valuing more this technological asset on the global B2B market. Thus, its great challenge remains the expansion of its international B2B digital activities, especially on the American market, with this signature with Caesars Interactive; the market in the United States should soon become the greatest market of virtual poker in the world. In spite of this imminent closure, the room still offers the possibility to qualify for the satellites of the World Series of Poker Europe, which will be held from October 11th to 25th.
