IPO: A record crowd expected for its Summer Edition
The Italian Poker Open (IPO) is one of the most select circuits of live poker tournaments in Italy. From next July 18th to 21st, the poker room of the Casino Campione will host the 11th step of this event, with the Main Event as culmination, which final table is planned on Sunday July 21st. Titled « Summer Edition », this event should gather a large number of players coming from all over Europe, because the event did not start yet and the Day 1B of the 550 buy-in Main Event is already full. In fact, the 700 places of this second departure day have already been sold, to the point that the registration will concern only the Day 1A. Satellite tournaments, Mini Sat Main Event IPO, will be organized at the casino, on Wednesday July 17th. 10 tickets for the Main Event will be distributed during these events, for a little buy-in of 40.
The Italian Poker Open11 Summer Edition is on the point to establish a new record of attendance, with the 700 places already taken of the Day 1B. During the IPO 10, 2,492 poker players took part in the Main Event. Apart from the Main Event, Side Events are also planned during this event, following the example of the Ladies Event, which seduces more and more women players these last times. After the Italian Poker Open 11 Summer Edition, the circuit will link up with the IPO 12, planned from next October 10th to 21st.
