BPT: Only a few days before the Enghien Les Bains step
Just a month after the step of Toulouse, the circuit Barrière Poker Tour 2013 (BPT) will link up next week with a stage in Enghien Les Bains. This 7th and penultimate step of the season 2013 will be held at the Casino Barrière of Enghien Les Bains, from Friday July 19th till Sunday July 21st. This year, the organizers expect a more significant attendance, compared with the one of last year, given the fact that renowned players will come back from Las Vegas with the World Series of Poker 2013, which will end this weekend, after a little more than one month of competition. As a reminder, the final table of the Main Event of the WSOP is planned in November: the famous November Nine. In 2012, the step in Ile de France region of the Barrière Poker Tour gathered more than 200 participants, who consisted of professional and beginners of poker. The main event was won by David Jaoui who managed to play poker well, in front of Willy Korchia and Laurent Polito who completed the podium.
Numerous events are registered in the program of this year, but the culmination remains the 1,500 buy-in Main Event. Apart from the Main Event, Side Events and satellite tournaments are in the program, for a buy-in going from 55 to 550. The BPT Enghien Les Bains will have three additional tournaments, namely the Ladies Event, the Cash Freezeout, the Deepstack Freezeout and the Mega Turbo Knockout. During this step of the BPT in Enghien-les-Bains, 5 packages for the WSOP Europe 2013 are going to be distributed. This event will also take place at the Casino Barrière of Enghien Les Bains, from October 11th to 24th 2013. Besides, the BPT Lille, from September 06th to 08th, will close the Season 6 of the Barrière Poker Tour.
