Texapoker Series: A step in Cannes at the end of July
After a step in San Remo during the last month, the Texapoker Series will have a stop on the French Riviera, in the poker room of Casino Barrière Cannes Croisette. From July 26th to 28th, the Croisette will offer a 100% poker weekend to all amateurs of poker of France. This poker event is an opportunity to discover the sumptuous town of Cannes and the summer atmosphere on the French Riviera. Like in each step of the Texapoker Series, the Cannes stage will have a Main Event and Side Events. Limited to 200 players, the Main Event will be accessible for a buy-in of 500 and each player will receive 100,000 starting chips. This event relies upon a deepstack structure, with100/200 blinds on level of 30 minutes during the Day 1, of 40 minutes during the Day 2 and of 50 minutes during the Day 3.
Two satellite tournaments will be organized there, in July 25th and 26th, for only 80 entry fee. To guarantee a 100% poker weekend, two Side Events were introduced in the program: 200 No Limit Holdem Re-entry and 150 No Limit Holdem Freezeout. After the Texapoker Series Cannes, the circuit will have a break of two months, before linking up with the Texapoker Series Gruissan, from October 11th to 13th. This stop in the south of France will be followed by a stage in Gujan Mestras, from November 29 to December 1st and in Costa Brava (Spain), to finish the year 2013.
