Poker clubs: Grand Châlon Poker at the head of French clubs in live ranking
Grand Châlon Poker Club has just been recognized to be the best poker club in Live classification, on a French scale. In fact, the members of this poker club continue to accumulate very good results. Fourth national club, it finished 4th during the final of the CNEC tournament (Compétition Nationale de Poker par Equipe), which took place around the beginning of the year. Its good performance during the regional qualifications has also helped it to propel toward this place of leader. Currently, Grand Châlon Poker Club owns 15,984 points. It outdistances Poker à Lille, with about 900 points. The two associations have each won two points. Then, Tregor Poker Club is in the third position after having lost a place. Haillan Poker Tour, Poker On Mars, Auxerre Poker Club, Dijon Poker, Orléans Poker Club, NH Poker Team and Limoges Poker Club occupy respectively the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th position of the classification.
As a reminder, the Official ranking of Clubs is made according to the Elo system, drawn up by the World Chess Federation (FIDE). The levels of each team during the different national competitions, organized throughout the year, are thus taken in account and also their regularity. Several other criteria such as the quality of the teaching adopted by each club, during the training of their members and the expertise of the leaders during the selection of players, who will take part in tournaments, are also considered. Note that 188 associations are part of this classification.
