WSOP 2013: Dices are rolled!
The Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino of Las Vegas hosted on Wednesday, May 29 the Shuffle Up and Deal, the inaugural tournament of this 44th edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), the tournament dedicated to employees. During more than 7 weeks, 62 golden bracelets will be available to be won during this world championship of poker. The key event of this circuit, the Main Event of $ 10,000 will be held from July 6 to 15, 2013, for a delayed final table, on November 4 and 5. The November Nine will confront with that in mind, at the Penn & Tell Theater of Rio. Among the novelties of this edition 2013 of the WSOP, we can quote among others, the Millionaire Maker, the Open Face Chinese Poker and the little One Drop poker tournament, which comes to complete the Big One For Drop of last year.
After the Shuffle Up and Deal, the WSOP linked up with the $ 5,000 No Limit Hold'em 8 Handed (Event #2), which was opened for all visitors. Several reputable players took the start of this event, such as Phil Ivey, Marvin Rettenmaier, Antonio Esfandiari, Benjamin Pollak, Joseph Cheong, Daniel Negreanu, Matt Salsberg, Mike Sexton, Jason Mercier, Vanessa Sebst, David Vamplew, Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen or the French Bertrand « ElkY » Grospellier. At the end of the 7th level, Stephen Bokor occupies the chiplead with 95,000 chips with the 232 remaining players out of the 481 players having taken the departure. Just behind, we find Chris Moorman (94,000), followed by Tom Marchese (92,000), Scott Baumstein (87,000), Gavin Griffin (78,000), Darryll Fish (73,000), Antonio Esfandiari (73,000), John Riordan (70,000), Art Alaniz (70,000) and Ty Reiman (62,000).
