EPT Berlin Main Event: Roman Herold at the head of the 17 survivors of the Day 4
The European Poker Tour Berlin continues its course with the Main Event which has just reached its small finale, the last phase before the final table consisted of eight players. 55 players took the start of the Day 4, but the majority of these players were eliminated after a few hours of game. Poker players like Liv Boeree, Ronny Voth, Thomas Hall and Sandra Naujoks failed at the first level. Liv Boeree was eliminated by Kevin Stani on the 48th place and pocketed 15,000. Dashgyn Aliev, Colin Moffatt, Daniel Reijme, Bryn Kenney, the cheap leader at the start of the day, Aku Joentausta and Olivier Busquet are among the other players who were eliminated in the level 21. Joentausta pocketed 22,000 for his elimination in the 31th place against Roman Herold.
After the level 21, there were still 24 players but eliminations followed one by one until there were no more than 17 players. Ramil Yusupov, Theodoros Aidonopoulos, Emil Ohlsson, Lukasz Golczyk and Jose Maria Galindo were among the last players to leave the table. The 17 survivors will be divided on three tables and Roman Herold is the chipleader with a stack of 4,485,000 chips. The top 1 of the chipcount at the start of the Day 5 is completed by Dashgyn Aliev, Khiem Nguyen, Alexander Helbig, Robert Haigh, Yasar Guden, Julian Thomas, Robert Auer, Daniel Gai-Pidun and Roman Korenev. The final table of this poker tournament takes place this Friday at around noon to define the last eight players who will compose the final table.
