Tangier: The city of poker during 12 days
Morocco became a very popular touristic destination to play poker. Next month, the Casino of Tangier will receive two major events during twelve days. Not only many French players but also other from Europe are expected for this Moroccan poker festival that will gather more than 500 participants. From May 1st to 12, the Casino of Tangier will host the Tangier Poker Festival which is now in its fourth edition, and also the Deepstack Open, a well known event by amateurs. The Tangier Poker Festival IV will be held in the poker room of the Casino of Tangier from May 1st till 5. With two Days 1, the Main Event of this tournament is available for 700 entrance fee and guarantees a 90,000 prize pool. Participants will have a stack of 35,000 chips for the beginning and will compete for parts on levels 45 and 60 minutes.
From May 9 to 12, the Casino of Tangier will host a new edition of the Deepstack Open whose Main Event and its re-entry format are accessible for a 550 buy-in. During this 100% poker week-end, players will start with a stack of 50,000 chips on 50 minutes levels. Besides the Main Event, the DSO also has two other related events namely the 1,000 Big Event and the 200 Side Event. In addition to the prize money, the Main Event winners of the Tangier Poker Festival and the DSO will receive a ticket of 3,000 for the ISPT in Wembley. The casino will also organize many live satellites for direct access to the ISPT Day 2.
