European Football Poker Tour: A tournament dedicated to 6 associations
Gathering the world of poker and football in favor of charities, this is the concept conveyed by the European Football Poker Tour (EFPT). The organizers announced on Monday evening the program and the participating associations of the European Football Poker Tour. More than just a tournament, the EFPT will be held from May 30 to June 2 with a poker event and a gala evening in order to raise funds to support charitable activities of the participating associations. During the introduction of the event at the Aviation Club de France, the two initiators of the project, Philippe Gauthier and Rodrigue Boumsong presented the event that will consist of two events: a main tournament and a tournament of legends. The gala will be held on Saturday, June 1st at Wagram Hall with auction of soccer jerseys led by Sebastian Loew.
The Main Event will be available for a buy-in of 1,000 while the tournament of legends for 500 entry fee will gather, as its name indicates celebrities, athletes and poker professionals in the person of Samuel Eto'o, Jean-Pierre Papin, Bruno Solo, Eric Carrière, Charles N'Zogbia, Philippe Ktorza, Franck Kalfon, Olivier Monterrubio Amara Simba and Raymond Domenech to represent his girlfriend Estelle Denis. In all, six associations are represented namely the association Neuf de Cur sponsored by Jean-Pierre Papin, the Samuel Eto'o Private Foundation, the association JApprends (Franck Kalfon), the association of jockeys (Philippe Ktorza) , the association Etoile de Martin (Estelle Denis) and the social and cultural project New Paradize.
