Premier League Poker VI: Victory of Dan Shak during its sixth edition
Even playing at home, Sam Trickett who however enjoyed the advantage of being on his country wasnt able to keep on the English soil the title of the sixth edition of the Premier League Poker VI after the final head's up. Its the American player Dan Shak who was the best during this televised tournament of $ 25,000 buy-in, and pocketed $ 450,000. The British Sam Trickett settled for the runner-up spot and a gain of $ 200,000. During this show and televised poker tournament broadcast live from Apsers Casino of London, it was Talal Shakerchi who was the first removed from the part. Jennifer Tilly, Tobias Reinkemeier and Daniel Cates joined him and are ranked seventh, sixth and fifth.
The World Champion2010, Jonathan Duhamel, occupied temporarily the chip lead at the time when there were only four players competing. But that did not allow him to go far; he was effectively the next player to leave the table with still a prize of $ 125,000. Then it was Antonio Esfandiari who was the next eliminated. He finished third and received a $ 150,000 reward. After his departure, Shak and Trickett started the final duel which ended with the victory of the American. For the native of Pennsylvania, this victory embellishes once again his poker prize list already full. Dan Shak has already accomplished many feats if we only mention his fourth place in the main event and the Super High Roller event of $ 100,000 buy-in at the Aussie Millions 2013.
