Card Player Poker Tour: The title of Atlantis Reno Main Event to John Miner

After four hours of battle, the final day of the Card Player Poker Tour Atlantis Reno of $ 1,080 buy-in ended with the victory of John Miner. The winner went back home with the trophy and the first prize of $ 45,153. As a reminder, this No-Limit Hold'em tournament brought together 190 players in the poker room of Atlantis Resort Casino in Nevada. Professional players came of course to participate in this poker tournament as Steve Brecher, Charles Moore, David Randall, Andrew Howard and Jerry Yang. The champion of the Atlantis All in Poker Series Main Event of last year, Randy Gil was also present but he was eliminated before the bubble burst.

Note that the action was particularly rapid during the final table of nine. During the first three hours of play, the six finalists composed of Steven Michaelis, Matt Kramer, Dustin Fox, Tanya Kirk, Billy Lee and Ralph Kingan left the game. They ranked respectively in the 9th, 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th and 4th place. An hour after their departure, Jeff Spruitenburg bowed in the 3rd place. The duel between Miner and Jerry Morrell did not last long. Morrell settled for the runner-up place and pocketed the $ 33,174 bonus. The next step of the CPPT will take place aboard the Royal Caribbean Oasis of The Seas. It will be a poker cruise that will take place from April 15 to 18. The magnificent ship will dock in Haiti, Falmouth, Jamaica, Cozumel and Mexico. The main event will be available for $ 1,100 buy-in.
